So i’ve been playing around with NodeJS for a while now, and i have tried out a few frameworks like Express and PoetJS, to see if i could find a blog setup that i felt comfortable with, but nothing felt quite right.
Luckily a stumbled upon ghost.org and it just felt like the perfect match from the very first moment i fired up the app.
I’ve you’re not familiar with GhostJS, you really should give it a spin.
Because if you haven’t lived under a rock for the last few years, you have probably heard of Handlebars and Markdown, and these languages are excatly what GhostJS uses for it’s template engine and blog posts, and it’s the very reason why i chose this platform for the blog.
